You don't know what it's like to live in a world, with no purpose to live for. Where you are looked down upon because of your age. A world with people full of hate and greed, and those few who are kind die while the evil live on and prosper. You can see the pain in their eyes if only you care enough to see it and even then we do nothing. This world is dyeing and nothing we do will never amount to anything. There is nothing worth fighting for anymore. We will all perish in the end, and what will we have accomplished? Nothing. The world we be gone, and we will be dead. So tonight I say goodbye to this world, but I will always wait for Lilly.

The Earth Nymphs

This is another short story that I might expand on later

Long ago water nymphs and tree nymphs lived in harmony with the nymphs of the earth. These nymphs were born of the earth in great caves of stone. They are the soul and spirit of the earth and they can control the ground. They make earthquakes and and give us, well, ground to walk upon. They warn us from volcanoes by using earthquakes. And they used to share their powers with us. You see using the deep magic of the earth we could make buildings with ease. Mine without tools or explosives, and build great walls of stone to protect ourselves from enemies. But the  other nymphs feared their power for it was far greater then theirs. The water nymphs and tree nymphs decided that if they teamed up they could seal away the earth nymphs and they would no longer need to fear them. So they went to war, the war last 2 years and both sides took great losses. The earth nymphs fought bravely, and although they were powerful the constant fighting weakened them greatly. So they gave up and fled into the depths of the earth and sealed off the entrance so now one could find them. Since the earth nymphs were under ground they could no longer share their power of earth share with us.They still warn us of volcanoes. The other nymphs did not realize the earth nymphs were completely safe, because while we now cut down entire forests and pollute the sea, lakes and rivers, the earth nymphs were so far under ground that even with our mining we will never be able to reach them or harm them. But one day they will come back.

The legend

I'm trying to write a book and this is the beginning part. Comment below if you like it!

                                              The Legend

This is the legend of my town, it has been passed down from generation to generation so that we might never forget what our founders did for us.
In the days of old when dragons and elves and dryads still roamed the earth, the human race had not fully populated the earth yet and we were struggling to survive. There was a girl who lived in the forest all her live, and knew how to survive and hunt, and find shelter. One day she went out and saw a man near the forest with some workers. He was trying to build a town but the dragons and monsters kept attacking and causing trouble. The girl knew she must help so she went deeper into the forest and asked the dragons and monsters to leave them alone. The monsters respected her and left them alone. But the workers could not get wood, because the dryads were attacking them. The girl went and spoke to the dryads, but the dryads would not die merely so that the humans could get wood. The girl knew what she must do. So she went out the forest to where the man and the workers were. And using the deep power and magic of the earth she created a town for them them out of stone and dirt. The man saw her and fell in love. He convinced her to stay and help them, and teach them more. The girl saw they needed her and stayed. She soon fell in love with the man and the married. They had many children with  special talents. So our town was born with our houses of stone and children with many talents. To honor our founders, at the age of 14 our sons and daughters must go into the very same woods and survive there for a year, and when they come back they will be welcomed as heroes and men and women.
And that's where my story begins when me and my brother enter the forest
