The Tears of the Phoenix

An original short story by Moriah Parker
                                                                The Tears of the Pheonix

I once met a pheonix when I was younger, but I met it in a dream. I remember what my dream was like, I was in a forest but then suddenly the forest around me caught on fire I remember I was afraid, that was when I first saw it. The pheonix was beautiful but yet you could tell it was extremly powerful but it was crying and where ever the tears fell a beautiful red flower that looked as if they were on fire started growing. The pheonix looked up and saw me it then picked two flowers and came to me, it turned one of the flowers golden and turned it into a necklace and gave it to me, then it gave me the fire flower. The last thing it gave me was a vial with a few of it's tears in it. It then spoke to me saying "Young girl, you must use these gifts wisely and not for your own gain."
I woke up just seconds after it finished speaking, I sat up in my bed and I saw I was wearing the necklace it gave me I then looked around and saw the fire flower in a small vase and the vial next to it. I quickly got up and looked out my window and I saw a small red bird, the bird then flew away. I will never forget that day.

I hope you liked my story, and sorry if there were any mistakes I mean I'm not that good at writing.
